At last year’s Tokyo Motor Show Nissan had a concept car on display. Now here are latest photos of the production version revealing the 2008 GT-R , Nissan’s answer to Porsche’s 911 Turbo.

The next generation Nissan GT-R is scheduled for release at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show, and it will be the first of Nissan’s super sportscars to come on the US market as well. It will be powered by a brand new 3.7 litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing about 450 HP. Also built for speed are the next-generation ATTESA ET-S 4 WD, and some very state-of-the-art 20-inch tires. According to rumours, the new GT-R will also be available with a seven-speed paddle-shifted gearbox.

Not to forget - the GT-R has another major advantage in the battle against Porsche. When it lands in the showrooms it will be available for tens and thousands of dollars less than a Porsche Turbo.

Il posteriore mi ricorda la Corvette, la fiancata (dalla portiera anteriore in poi) mi piace ma il muso è raccapricciante.

Mi piace, non ha una linea bellissima in senso assoluto ma è particolare e aggressiva come deve essere un'auto del genere. Interessantissimo il V6 TwinTurbo.

Zarrissima.....però nel solco della tradizione....giusta la scelta del v6 biturbo per 2 ordini di motivi:

-contenere il prezzo

-far felici i tuners

il semiautomatico a 7 velocità si preannuncia da paura...vdiamo come sarà lo schema di traz integrale....

Sulle prime veniva ventilata l'ipotesi che avrebbe adottato un V8 ma evidentemente hanno cambiato idea.

c'è scritto....io la vedevo dura un V8.....cmq è facile che abbiano testato entrambe le soluzioni

ora ricordo. Per qualcuno era scomodo un v6 biturbo da 400cv dato che le notizie più vecchie lo indicavano addirittura in cilindrata da 3,5 litri che poi tempo dopo diventò un 3700-3800cc come ora pare confermato (si tratta di un ennesimo sassolino nella scarpa che volevo togliermi)
