Il tcs svizzero ha notato come molte case barino sui pesi, ciò rende certe vetture meno caricabili, dato che il limite massimo viene raggiunto prima.

Prendendo come riferimento la serie 3 (320d automatica, peso 1595 kg), sono rimasto sconcertato dalla Classe A (A200 automatica, 1545 kg), dalla Leaf (1615 kg), ma sopratutto dalla V40 (D4 geartronic), 1655 kg!

Anche la Civic (2.2 manuale, 1555 kg) e la Golf Cabrio (1.4 DSG, 1535 kg) non scherzano!

La leaf tutto sommato se consideriamo il pacco batterie non mi sorprende, nella v40 oltre a considerare la dotazione di sicurezza bisogna ammettere che un 5 cilindri e il cambio automatico con convertitore purtroppo alzano troppo il peso, infatti Volvo presenterà tra poco il nuovo 4 cilindri, per alleggerire la meccanica.

According to the Swedish magazine Teknikens Värld, the new Ford Mondeo is 279 kg (615 lbs) heavier than what Ford claims.

In a recent test the magazine included the Mondeo Estate, the Volkswagen Passat estate and the Volvo V70 and found out that the curb weight of the Mondeo is 17.4% more than indicated. This means the vehicle weighs 1,880 kg (4,145 lbs).
More interestingly, if you load the car to the max, you actually commit a crime because its total gross weight is exceeded. Even worse, it can also be dangerous, according to the magazine. It also says the rear wheels scrape the wheel arches.
A month ago Teknikens Värld also discovered the same problem with the Mercedes-Benz C220 BlueTEC Estate. It weighs 245 kg (540 lbs) more than the car’s registration certificate says.

mi ricordo ai tempi in cui ci si scannava per il peso da balena della 159...quando nelle prove delle riviste pesava quanto le concorrenti (20 kg in più o in meno) dell'epoca...serie 3 esclusa (ma era pure più piccolina...e pure lei pesava più del dichiarato mi sembra)
