A me pare che a differenza dell'iniettore del common rail in cui il piezo innesca "direttamente" l'apertura dell'iniettore, nel PDE il piezo opera nella apertura/chiusura della camera ad alta pressione su cui a agisce lo stantuffo.

L'aumento di pressione porta poi all'apertura dell'ago e quindi all'iniezione del gasolio...
