sai che anch'io, da buon ex residente USA, spesso rivaluto l'indifferenza italica?? però è anche vero che la ns indifferenza ci causa anche danni... come al solito, ancora una volta, avevano ragione quei "pervertiti" ;) dei romani 2000 anni fa: in medio stat virtus

siamo un po' OT, mi scuseranno i mods?? ;)

Grazie x i complimenti, prima di tutto. Didatticamente siamo anni luce da quello a cui siamo abituati noi. Ed io venivo da 6 anni di Bocconi, che avrebbe dovuto essere la + americana ed organizzata delle Uni italiane. In effetti così è, ma ciononostante siamo anni luce.

Il sistema scolastico superiore (High School) USA è veramente un cesso, a parte poche realtà elitarie, ma per quanto riguarda le università il discorso si ribalta nelle stesse proporzioni. Sia Undergraduate (college) che Graduate (master).

Programmi un po' + leggeri ma molto + mirati all'apprendimento. Disussioni di casi e ricerche, applicazioni sul campo e teoria nel giusto mix.

Professori, anche di nome e professione importanti, sempre ultra disponibili a extra sessioni, anche private (domeniche pomeriggio a casa loro) o di gruppo: es. se l'orario di ricevimento (sempre presente e puntuale come un treno inglese) nn basta x dirimere alcune questioni sul programma, ci si trova in orario extralavoro.

Se salti una o + lezioni chiami a casa e ti fai dire come recuperare...

No, altro mondo...

DIfetti?? accademicamente sono un po' ingenui, anche se poi chi sgarra e viene beccato paga con gli interessi.

Socialmente è troppo personale come esperienza e tutto sta a come uno si inserisce. Io ho ancora tantissimi amici, anche tra i prof. (molti dei quali famosi professionisti in vari settori, dall'auto alla finanza)
