The SEAT Arona is a cornerstone of the brand’s success. Fuelled by strong sales, it carves out a bold presence of the brand in the urban SUV segment. Now, the SEAT Arona steps confidently into its next chapter as a more robust urban SUV with a dynamic character, driven by three key strengths: a refreshed exterior, enhanced interior, and even greater value across its three trim levels – Arona, Style and FR.

Since its launch in 2017, the SEAT Arona has sold over 750,000 units and earned a central place in the brand’s line-up. It has become a favourite for drivers who want an urban SUV that’s full of energy, personality, and ready for every challenge.

The new SEAT Arona is designed, developed and produced in Martorell, Barcelona. It will be launched in January 2026.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS: A MORE ROBUST URBAN SUV WITH A DYNAMIC CHARACTER

Exterior

The SEAT Arona steps out with a new front design that sharpens its robust and dynamic urban SUV character. Its revamped front features a striking new, slimmer Full LED headlight design with a distinctive light signature, as well as new hexagonal grille design, newly positioned fog lamps and new front bumper.

The Arona’s rugged spirit is pushed even further with a selection of renewed alloy wheel designs – from 16” to 18” – that amplify its confident stance. Fresh exterior colour choices – including the new Liminal, Oniric and Hypnotic,  inject youthful energy and individuality, giving the SEAT Arona a look that matches its fun-to-drive and agile character.

Expressive down to the last detail, it offers two contrasting roof colour options: Midnight Black and the new Manhattan grey.

SUPERIOR INTERIOR QUALITY

The SEAT Arona’s interior raises the bar, delivering a cabin with enhanced quality and stronger personality. Attention to detail goes up a notch with new embossed textiles on the seats, a steering wheel, wrapped in 100% premium perforated leather, neutral accents on the air vents, standard bucket seats in the FR trim, adding an extra sporty touch to the interior.

ALWAYS CONNECTED

The SEAT Arona is fully connected to the digital world. Wireless Android Auto and CarPlay are seamlessly integrated through the 8.25” and 9.2” infotainment screens, while the new SEAT Sound system delivers high-fidelity audio experience. POWERTRAINS DESIGNED TO ADAPT

Engine line-up blends direct-injection (TSI) technology with dynamism. With power outputs ranging from 95PS to 150PS, and a mix of manual gearboxes and dual-clutch DSG transmissions, every drive is tuned for maximum responsiveness and control.

SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE AT ITS HEART

Safety is a part of the SEAT Arona. Packed with advanced driver assistance systems, it stands out as one of the safest and most convenient urban SUVs in its segment. Technologies like Travel Assist deliver semi-automatic driving across the full speed range, combining ACC and Lane Assist to ease the driver’s load. New Full LED headlights boost both range and brightness – delivering over 900lm on low beam and up to 1510lm on high beam, doubling and tripling the output of the previous EcoLED system. The result is a clearer, more confident view of the road ahead.

EXTERIOR DESIGN

The SEAT Arona’s exterior evolves its rugged spirit with a more robust stance. A stronger visual presence and subtle additions give the urban SUV a confident edge, taking its character to new level.

The new, larger hexagonal grille design enhances the vehicle’s confident proportions. The slimmer Full LED headlights, positioned higher, elevate the front end to create a more prominent attitude, separating it visually from the ground and improving its overall stance. Their refined light signature not only adds a more technical look and a more determined attitude but also improves visibility through the new Full LED headlights.

At the lower section, there is a black area that spans the full width of the vehicle, visually linking the central grille with the side air curtains into a single unit, together with the lateral air intakes and fog lamps. The fog lamps are now positioned lower and integrated into the redesigned front bumper, protected by nozzles within the central grille that lend the front end a more iconic character. To further emphasize the Arona's aesthetic and all-terrain credentials, black protective elements surround the entire lower section of the vehicle, extending seamlessly to the sides and rear.

The new SEAT Arona enhances its bold design with distinctive dark accents, including black roof rails and a sleek black window frame. On FR variants, a discreet laser-etched FR badge nestles on the B-pillar and the dark aluminium FR badge on the tailgate add a subtle nod to sporty heritage.

The SEAT Arona’s wheel line-up now offers four new designs: two 16” and two 18” options – each available in either painted or machined finishes – joining the existing 17” variants to offer greater visual impact and customisation. So, whether you prefer a bold stance or a refined edge, there’s a wheel to match the drive.

At the rear, the youthful and functional design gains a sportier edge with the addition of a coloured diffuser dark aluminium. The finishing touch is the dark aluminium handwritten model lettering, giving the Arona a signature detail. All versions of the new SEAT Arona now feature 100% LED taillights.

The Arona’s exterior shines with three new colours, expanding the palette to nine vibrant, youthful options and giving customers even more ways to personalise their ride. The new shades – Liminal, Oniric, and Hypnotic join classics like Nevada White, Midnight Black, Magnetic Tech, Candy White, Fiord Blue, and Graphene Grey.

For added flair, customers can choose between two roof colours – Midnight Black and the new Manhattan Grey – both designed to complement the body colour palette of the SEAT Arona.

INTERIOR DESIGN

The SEAT Arona’s interior embraces increased quality, design, and connectivity to a new level mixed with its trademark sense of space and precision with new embossed textiles, and refined materials.

The greenhouse shifts to black, giving the cabin a fresh, cohesive character that’s echoed in the textile door panel inserts and soft-touch materials. The cabin’s feel is complemented by the embossed textiles use on the seats, and the steering wheel wrapped in premium 100% leather, perforated to deliver an immediate sense of tactility and premium quality.

For those who want to take it further, the Arona FR steps up with specific Buckets seats included as standard, adding extra lateral support and sportiness. Dark-tinted rear windows and driving modes also come as standard, amplifying both comfort and dynamic capability.

Lighting is just as important inside as it is outside: LED surrounds around the driver and passenger air vents now offer new colour options – Fresh Mint for Style and Silver metallic for FR – with the latter creating a distinctly sporty atmosphere.

Driver focus remains key. The ergonomically designed multifunction steering wheel puts full control at your fingertips, letting you navigate through the vehicles numerous functions. Behind the steering well sits either the standard 8” digital display, or the optional pin-sharp 10.25” Digital Cockpit – home to all the data and information the driver needs with minimal distraction.

Horizontal lines define the cabin’s functional zones, including the elevated, floating infotainment screen – standard 8.25” with an optional 9.2” – for improved ergonomics and ease of use.

SEAT combines style with practicality: rear seats in all trims split and fold flat to expand cargo space. The boot offers a generous 400 litres placing it amongst the best in its class, complemented by a double floor for versatility, and four metal hooks to secure your belongings.

TRIMS

The SEAT Arona lets customers shape the vehicle to match their personality. Across its three trims – Arona, Style, FR – drivers can tailor their Arona to fit their lifestyle perfectly, choosing from a wide range of options to make it truly their own.

The Style trim brings equipment usually found in higher trims, such as seats with embossed textile, textile door panels insert, rear parking sensor, air conditioning, 16’’ alloy wheels or leather steering wheel.

For those who want to go further, the Arona FR steps up with front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, an FR logo on the B-pillar, dark aluminium FR badge on the tailgate, and darkened exhaust pipes – all as standard. It also includes exclusive bucket seats and selectable driving modes, adding a sportier, more dynamic character.

Each Arona can be taken to the next level with features like Climatronic dual-zone climate control – standard on FR variants –, the larger 9.2” infotainment system, 17” and 18” performance alloy wheels and keyless entry– all designed to elevate comfort, style and technology.

CONNECTIVITY

The SEAT Arona is built to be part of the digital world, seamlessly connecting your life to every journey. It brings instant access to your favourite apps, content and contacts – right from the driver’s seat.

At the heart of the experience is the floating infotainment display: 8.25” as standard or an optional 9.2” screen, both integrating Full Link connectivity - wireless or wired - and the SEAT CONNECT system.

Full Link keeps you connected, whether you use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, bringing your music, contacts and maps into the cabin in a safe, intuitive way – controllable via the touchscreen or the multifunction steering wheel.

The 9.2” infotainment system unlocks real-time online content – from traffic updates to internet radio – all accessible at the touch of a button or through natural voice commands. Just say “Hola, Hola” and the voice assistant comes to life. Whether you need navigation information or want to access contact’s data, it’s all accessible in a completely accessible way.

To elevate in-car entertainment, the new SEAT Sound system combines six speakers, a subwoofer, and a 300W amplifier for rich, high-fidelity audio. So, no matter what audio is brought into the vehicle, it’ll sound pitch perfect.

POWERTRAINS

The SEAT Arona, delivers a perfect balance of real-world efficiency and dynamic driving thanks to its range of petrol engines – keeping the urban SUV ready for any adventure.

The line-up features three TSI petrol engines, with outputs ranging from 95PS (70kW) to 150PS (110kW):

• 1.0 TSI 95PS 3-cylinder engine with 5-speed manual gearbox

• 1.0 TSI 115PS 3-cylinder engine with 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG gearbox

• 1.5 TSI 150PS 4-cylinder engine with 7-speed DSG gearbox

Non è brutta, ma a mio avviso si vedono tutti gli anni che ha. Avrebbero forse dovuto fare un aggiornamento più importante, in stile Kia Stonic per capirci, o quantomeno fare delle modifiche tecniche decisamente più importanti, qui invece hanno fatto veramente poco. Almeno dei motori mild-hybrid ci volevano, invece prima di due anni non se ne parla.
