Finalmente è arrivata la tanto attesa decisione riguardo l'attività sportiva 2008 di Didier Auriol.

L'ex campione del mondo rally ha infatti deciso di prendere parte a 4 gare dell'Intercontinental Rally Challenge al volante di una Grande Punto Super 2000 della Scuderia del Grifone, grazie all'appoggio dello sponsor Ald Automotive, società multinazionale che opera nel settore del long lease.

La vettura sarà gommata BF Goodrich, e gli equipaggiamenti sportivi verrano forniti da OMP. La Grifone si sta operando fin da ora per cercare ulteriori partner in grado di permettere ad Auriol di partecipare ad un maggiore numero di gare del campionato
