In tutta sincerità, nonostante il prezzo assai favorevole, eviterei i motori a carburatori ed andrei sicuramente su quelli ad iniezione.

In teoria, lavorandoci sopra, sarebbe possibile montare anche motori diversi da quelli da loro previsti, ma credo sia d'obbligo una conoscenza meccanica veramente approfondita. Ci sono alcuni esempi di Ultima con motore Audi

Per quanto riguarda l'omologazione, in Germania viene normalmente targata la Ultima GTR con motore LS1 (quello della Corvette C5) ed è possibile farla omologare, come esemplare unico, anche con il motore LS7 (quello della Corvette C6 Z06). Ecco dunque che l'omologazione in Italia risulta essere possibile, passando però per la Germania. ;)
