100 ore di Astronomia

E' forse l'evento più "globale" in programma per l'Anno Internazionale dell'Astronomia: una maratona di 100 ore che coinvolgerà in contemporanea tutti i Paesi partecipanti a IYA2009. Una celebrazione lunga 5 giorni pensata per avvicinare l'Astronomia al grande pubblico nei modi e nei luoghi più diversi.

La cerimonia ufficiale di apertura della manifestazione, dedicata a Galileo Galilei e alle sue scoperte, si svolgerà presso il Franklin Institute in Philadelphia il 2 aprile 2009: da lì prenderà il via il fitto programma di iniziative previste in tutto il mondo.
