Prendo spunto da un topic aperto nella sezione auto britanniche. Da ormai molti anni (diciamo una ventina?) le Vauxhall sono pressochè identiche alle "sorelle" Opel, pero' ho scoperto che, almeno fino agli anni settanta, era concessa qualche libertà stilistica alla Vauxhall, in modo tale da differenziare un poco la produzione per il mercato interno.

Un esempio:

Vauxhall Carlton (nome poi utilizzato anche per l'Opel Omega) modello '78:

Opel Kadett C (l'ultima a trazione posteriore)

L'Opel Kadett "D" del 1980, a trazione anteriore e solo con carrozzeria a due volumi (la "C" esisteva anche a tre volumi) fu commercializzata come Vauxhall Astra, senza modifiche di rilievo a livello estetico...
