01 October 2026, Gaydon: Aston Martin is proud to introduce the new DBX GT; a new interpretation of the marques acclaimed SUV that blends ultra-luxury craftsmanship, refined comfort and effortless performance.

Expanding the breadth of choice in the DBX range with the highest levels of luxury, comfort and refinement without any sacrifice in performance, DBX GT finds a new harmony where presence, sophistication and enhanced daily driveability come to the fore, while enjoying the same on-demand dynamic capability for which the DBX is renowned.

Aston Martin CEO, Adrian Hallmark said: “DBX GT is aimed at customers who prefer assured elegance over sporting aggression and demand a higher degree of luxury. By refining the visual drama and elevating the interior with new elements of craftsmanship, the DBX GT delivers a true ultra-luxury experience; one which comes with no sacrifice in performance.”

ULTRA REFINEMENT

Visually the DBX GT is distinguished by comprehensive exterior changes which emphasise the renowned form and proportions of Aston Martin's acclaimed SUV. Where DBX S expresses sporting prowess through assertive features, DBX GT delivers quiet luxury and elegance, through luxury detailing and high-quality materials and finishes.

A signature detail of the DBX GT is its new double vaned grille. Available in a bright or dark finish these split metal grille vanes continue to the separate outer vents, incorporating the Daytime Running Lights and extending horizontal plane, broadening the effect to create a sense of greater presence through increased volume of the lower front bumper.

Moving to the flanks, DBX GT features a two-piece metal side strake. Distinguished by contrasting polished and satin dual finish inspired by techniques used in traditional watchmaking, this new treatment of an iconic Aston Martin design element accentuates the DBX's sculptural detailing.

For continued elegance, the lower front bumper, sills and rear diffuser are painted to match the body colour as standard. DBX GT also introduces a new 22-inch forged wheel with a Satin Titanium diamond turned finish. Fitted with an all-season tyre as standard, this new wheel and tyre package has been chosen to maximise ride compliance and minimise road noise for enhanced daily useability. Those looking for a more assertive look and greater emphasis on performance can choose the optional 23-inch wheel and tyre package.

Completing the DBX GT's exterior design changes are new quad exhaust finishers. Set in pairs, side-by-side in a horizontal orientation they emphasise the width of the lower body to create an imposing stance. Finished with bright polished outers and satin anodised inners, these sculpted tailpipes sit framed by the lower body and diffuser; symbols of the DBX GT's shared title of world's most powerful pure internal combustion SUV alongside the DBX S.

Aston Martin EVP & Chief Creative Officer, Marek Reichman said: “Aston Martin is uniquely placed to combine ultra-luxury and performance. All our cars combine both, but each car finds a different balance, both visually and dynamically. With DBX GT we have taken a more discreet approach. One which downplays its outright performance and instead exudes a quiet charisma. Elegantly understated, yet safe in the knowledge it possesses the same performance and class-leading dynamics expected of a DBX.”

From inception, DBX has delivered a handcrafted, luxurious interior design underpinned by everyday utility and intuitive ergonomics. Blending craftsmanship through functionality, it combines the commanding view of an SUV with the cocooning feel of a sports car.

DBX GT introduces heightened craftsmanship and comfort with bespoke embroidery details on new seat forms. Front and rear seats have been redesigned with enhanced cushioning, redefined bolstering and carefully engineered comfort curves to balance dynamic support and everyday usability. To enhance the seating plushness a 10mm thick memory foam layer has been added to the cushion structure, whilst sculptural changes to the bolsters increase lateral support and comfort.

DBX GT also introduces a new individual rear seat layout, elevating the rear environment design and comfort while retaining the flexibility of 5-seat capability. Two individually sculpted seating positions align the rear environment to the front seat design language with extended headrests and bolsters providing enhanced comfort for rear occupants by increasing lateral support, making longer journeys more comfortable. The addition of the standard panoramic glass roof floods the cabin with natural light, making the rear environment an even more enjoyable place to be.

DBX GT interior introduces tactile expressions of quality, where material selection, precision and execution meet to create a luxurious interior. Anodised metal drive mode rotary controller and secondary switchgear provide a jewellery quality finish. The choice of GT-specific monotone, duotone and tritone upholstery colour combinations are embellished by intricate panels of quilting and perforation, plus complex embroidery stitching in a pattern unique for DBX GT.

Semi-aniline leather and deep pile floor mats enhance the ultra-luxury specification of DBX GT further. 691 meters of thread, 3,297 perforation holes, and in excess of four and a half hours of craftsmanship are meticulously applied to the construction of each front seat.

Comfort continues beyond the seats, with the prioritisation of cabin ambience and noise performance to complement the new interior design. This has been achieved through targeted improvements throughout the body structure, alongside meticulous attention to cabin sealing to minimise the transmission of unwanted sound from road, wind and traffic noise.

Likewise precise placement of sound deadening materials in door panels, front and rear wheel arch zones and the rear load space, plus use of acoustic laminated rear side glass minimise noise levels from the outside world. Deep pile carpets not only support acoustic isolation but serve as a further layer of opulence to the DBX GT's ultra-luxury feel.

The measurable result is a 13% improvement in 'Articulation Index' - the automotive industry score of how easy it is to hold a conversation on the move. Whether chatting with passengers, making a telephone call, or enjoying the Bower & Wilkins audio system, the DBX GT provides a quieter, more relaxing, more luxurious cabin environment.

EFFORTLESS PERFORMANCE

While DBX GT delivers a more comfortable and refined ultra-luxury experience, the ability to engage super-SUV performance in an instant is critical. At the heart of the DBX GT is the bespoke 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine introduced on DBX S. Its 727PS output is achieved through shared turbocharger technology with the mid-engine Valhalla supercar, while 900Nm of torque ensures an effortless spread of readily accessible performance that shines in everyday driving situations and effortlessly raises its game on challenging driving roads. Like DBX S, 0-60mph time is just 3.1 seconds and top speed remains at an impressive 193mph.

Braking performance to match the power continues to be provided by the same carbon ceramic brake systems, measuring 420mm at the front and 390mm at the rear.

A faster steering ratio is also shared with DBX S, noticeably improving agility making the car feel even more sporting and responsive when required, and for urban driving, the turning circle remains at just 12.0 metres.

DBX GT benefits from a unique suite of suspension enhancements with a revised calibration of damper settings including a unique damper valve system which enhances ride compliance over poor surfaces while maintaining body control when driving dynamically. These new internal damper valves manage oil flow during high frequency, low amplitude inputs – for example, a coarsely textured road surface, or rumble strips – to filter and further reduce the transmission of unwanted vibrations into the cabin. The spring rate also changes depending upon selected drive mode, actively moving the roll stiffness balance through a corner to enhance grip and steering response.

Aston Martin Chief Technology Officer, Ian Hoban said: “The challenge with DBX GT was achieving meaningful improvements in comfort and refinement in everyday use cases, but keeping the same class-leading reserves of performance and handling we have achieved with the DBX S. This was delivered via a combination of small but significant hardware upgrades together with a targeted suite of calibration changes to the chassis and powertrain. The results are highly satisfying; noticeable reduction in unwanted noise intrusion, greater isolation from road imperfections and a tangible uplift in refinement, but with the breathtaking performance, handling poise and driver connection for which the DBX is renowned.”

DBX GT achieves effortless progression feel with a refinement in throttle pedal feel giving the driver a greater sense of precision and control; each measured input resulting in an exact, proportionate output response from the powertrain for an intuitive degree of modulation. Further calibration refinements focus on the shift feel of the 9-speed 'wet clutch' automatic transmission, bringing greater consistency and smoothness across all shift scenarios, from relaxed, low-speed urban driving to spirited full-throttle enjoyment.

Learnings from the Valhalla have led to a new transmission mount bush, which increases mounting stiffness to better manage the movement of the transmission relative to the body. In addition, two new longitudinal dampers manage connection between the body and rear subframe, further optimising the feeling of structural integrity, especially during larger suspension events, such as large potholes, sharp crests or severe compressions.

Low-speed ride refinement and compliance have also been improved through the standard fitment of 22-inch wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres (23-inch wheels and Pirelli P-Zero Summer or Scorpion Zero All-Season tyres are available as an option).

DBX GT also receives a dedicated exhaust tune. Double mixing of gas flow within the rear muffler produces a cleaner, richer tone by eliminating harsh metallic frequencies. A bespoke tune in GT mode ensures discreet progress, with Sport and Sport + modes restoring the DBX GT to full voice when performance driving takes priority and the Aston Martin soundtrack is desired.

DBX GT is the most refined and understated interpretation of Aston Martin's acclaimed high-performance SUV. Offering quiet luxury and elegance without compromise on performance, it brings its own character to Aston Martin's SUV portfolio. First deliveries of the new DBX GT are scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.
