McRae bounces back with Fiat

Former world rally champ Colin McRae is poised to make a full-time comeback to the sport by leading Fiat's return to the championship in 2007.

The 37-year-old from Lanark has already completed secret testing with the Italian giant's new car in Sardinia.

Twenty-four hours after Skoda, the team McRae drove twice for this season, confirmed they would not run a factory team in 2006 it became clear the Scot has been carrying out secret negotiations with Fiat.

"Fiat has a great tradition in rallying, that's why I immediately accepted their invitation to try the Super2000," McRae said after testing the car at the San Biagio special stage.

beh,considerando che per il momento,skoda,pare ritirata ufficialmente...e visto che schiera un team b,con l'appoggio di redbull....insomma,forse gli conviene,prendersi il rischio con la fiat
