Giancarlo Michellone, Ad del Centro Ricerche Fiat, si è aggiudicato il premio 'Oscar Masi' 2002 per l'innovazione. Il riconoscimento gli è stato assegnato dall'Associazione Italiana per la Ricerca Industriale (Airi). Michellone è stato premiato per gli elementi di innovatività del veicolo Gasdriver, che unisce un sistema di cambio robotizzato, un motore a metano ed un motogeneratore elettrico che li collega.
