Come segmento C consiglierei Golf/Leon con il 1.2 tsi in primis. Se provi a guardarti intorno i benzina sui segmento C quando non sono delle petroliere (max 12km/l sul misto) sono asfittici, mentre il 1.2/1.4 tsi è il miglior compromesso in assoluto. Dovrebbe andare bene anche la nuova c4 con il 1.6vti perchè l'auto è molto leggera come segmento C

Come segmento B ti consiglio invece la c3 con il 95cv o il 120cv. Auto esteticamente molto bella, completa e non consuma tanto.
