Problemi non te ne darà, ma il nuovo 1.5 dovrebbe essere meglio, almeno sulla carta.

Speaking at the Detroit Auto Show, VW brand CEO Herbert Diess revealed plans to introduce 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines in the upcoming Golf VII facelift. While the car will be introduced towards the end of the year, the motors won’t be available from day one as VW says these two will be offered starting 2017.

The turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline engine will serve as a direct successor of the current 1.4 TSI and is going to come with cylinder deactivation technology, as well as direct-injection and a new turbocharger. As for the 1.5-liter diesel, it’s going to replace the familiar 1.6 TDI.

VW mentions production costs will be higher compared to the current units, but the new ones will be lighter and more frugal.

Sarebbero dei pazzi schizofrenici a tenerli entrambi dopo aver menzionato ufficialmente che il problema sono i costi..vabbe che ci prendono in giro come e quando vogliono..

Costi di produzione più alti rispetto agli attuali a fronte di una migliore efficienza e leggerezza... Certo che il marketing di VAG lavora pure di notte, stanno facendo già i compiti per il 2018
