156.....seat position

I drove an 156 1.6ts(model-1999) and my head was hiting the top of the roof.....i placed the seat in the lower height position...The strange thing is that i also drove Α156 2.5 V6 with alfa romeo's sunroof and i set the seat also in the lower position and my head did not hit the roof.....I asked a friend of mine who has A156 with the first facelift and he doesn't have this problem. So i want to ask if italians changed except the panel of 156(second edition) also the seats?.....cause i remember that when 156 was first introduced they said that drivers with height under 1.80+ whould have that kind of problem.

there should be a difference in height with/without electric seat adjustment and even with/without leather
Both of 156 had leather and manual seat adjustment.

Do you know if i can put the seat basis(stand) of a facelift 156 to an old version before 2000 in order to solve the height problem?

Also i found that 156's of year 1998-2001 had readability problem(quadrante) of the which solved with the placement of a different steering wheel.

U can't do that ... the seat has an airbag inside and connectors could be different!
