Aston Martin Lagonda teased, goes into production early next year

Will be offered exclusively in the Middle East

Aston Martin has released the first details about the Lagonda, ahead of its launch early next year.

Described as a "bespoke product" that will go into "strictly limited" production, the Lagonda is an extra-luxury sedan that rides on the VH platform and features carbon fiber body panels.

Aston Martin declined to release technical specifications but previous reports have suggested it will use a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces approximately 600 bhp (447 kW).

The model will be offered for sale by "invitation only" and the asking price will be "commensurate with the car’s exclusivity, quality and luxurious nature." Unfortunately, it will be offered exclusively in the Middle East.

According to Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman, “The new model, like its exclusive siblings the One-77 and V12 Zagato, has been created as a piece of exceptional automotive art. It has been designed and developed entirely in keeping with the spirit and ethos of previous Lagonda super saloons – notably the William Towns Lagonda – and as a tribute to this car it proudly bears the Lagonda nameplate.”
