Stando ai rumors, la Octavia RS diventerà PHEV. Spinta dal 1.4 Turbo 4 cilindri e dall'unità elettrica, garantirebbe una potenza complessiva di picco di 180 kW / 245 CV che saranno inviati alle ruote anteriori attraverso una trasmissione a doppia frizione con 6 rapporti.

 

A queste si aggiungeranno la versione "liscia" con il 2.0 litri Turbo benzina di pari potenza (245 CV) abbinato alla trasmissione manuale a 6 rapporti o DSG a 7. Per alcuni mercati anche 2.0 TDI da 147 kW / 200 CV con il 7 marce DSG.
