You Can't Crash This BMW F800R

If MC Hammer saw this BMW F800R, he's most likely added some different flavor to his best of all times, and we'd be now singing and dancing to the "You Can't Crash This" tune. Jokes aside, this is serious motorcycle safety business happening in the UK, with no less than 4 former racers: Niall Mackenzie, Neil Hodgson, James Whitham or Steve Plater.

Focused Events is organizig a series of 11 track training sessions which run from May 14 through September 26 on the legendary Silverstone and Donnington circuits.

These Cornering Techniques System training sessions involve riding few uncrashable bikes fitted with outriggers:"the beginners can use the small-profile Suzuki DRZ125, while more advanced riders can jump on a BMW F800R and even the beastly S1000RR.

The main goal of these training classes is to teach participating riders the technique of counter-steering, but skipping the danger of crashing when overloading the front tire, James Whitham says.

"I’ve had some time on this bike now and it seems to be almost un-crashable. It takes a while to trust that you can force the bike from one side to the other by counter-steering the bars quickly without the front washing out. If it does the bike simply falls onto the outrigger wheel. A bit of throttle will easily bring the bike back up... this too is lots of fun... if a little weird at first!”
