J: "Continuava a rialzarsi"

[h=1]Elon Musk tweeted details about new Tesla cars, but then he deleted the tweets[/h]Tesla CEO Elon Musk recently shared some new details about a completely new vehicle the company plans to launch.

Musk posted a tweet on Friday that confirmed in addition to the Model 3, which is Tesla’s more affordable sedan, there will also be a Model Y, which is expected to be the crossover version of the Model 3.

Earlier this year, Musk said the Model 3 is slated to go into production in 2017 and will price at about $35,000.

He didn’t reveal any other details about the Model Y, like pricing information or a launch date, but he did say that either the Model 3 or Model Y will feature falcon-wing doors just like the company's newest car, the Model X.

Musk has since deleted his tweet, but a cached version of his post can still be viewed here.

Musk also revealed on Friday that Tesla could be working on a lower priced Model X.

He said in a Twitter post that a Model X with a 70 kWh battery may also be in the works, but is still at least a year out. He has since deleted this tweet as well.

Currently, the Model X, which began delivery last Tuesday, features a 90 kWh battery and begins pricing at $132,000 for its Signature Series model. A non-Signature Model X prices at about $90,000.

Like the Model S 70D, which prices about $30,000 less than a Model S P85D, a Model X with a 70 kWh battery would likely be priced significantly lower than a P90D Model X.
