Il 6 cilindri in linea da 3.0 litri sovralimentato con turbocompressore + modulo elettrico all'interno del gruppo cambio 9 rapporti, arriva sulla AMG GT Coupe' e AMG GT Roadster.

Il "piccolo" 3000 eroga 320 kW / 435 CV e 520 Nm di coppia, dati comunque di tutto rispetto, se paragonati al V8 Biturbo 4000 che arriva sino ad 585 CV ed 700 Nm di coppia.
