Come d'altra parte i siti web degli altri marchi di Stellantis

Certo che se non si decidono a produrre almeno uno dei due B suv in italia , saranno cavoli amarissimi. Uno stabilimento con stla one in italia è indispensabile … tra la giulietta e la renegade potrebbero salvarne uno.

Upcoming Jeep Global SUV to use Tata Sierra’s ARGOS platform

Stellantis has confirmed it will use a Tata Motors platform to develop and manufacture an all-new Jeep SUV in India for global markets. The announcement came at the group’s 2026 Investor Day, where Grégoire Olivier, Stellantis Asia Pacific COO, said Tata Motors would provide “a highly competitive platform” for a new Jeep vehicle that will be “developed in India, assembled in India, in our Stellantis-Tata JV in India, for the world.” The SUV is targeted for a 2028 launch and will be exported to over 50 countries across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America.

While Stellantis has not officially named the platform, industry sources indicate Jeep will use the ARGOS architecture, the same modular platform that underpins the recently launched Tata Sierra. 

1. ARGOS allows for AWD, which is non-negotiable for the Jeep brand 

2. Tata will also supply Sierra’s 1.5-litre TGDi petrol engine which meets Euro 7 and BS7 norms

The apex of this future line-up will be a new large and rugged family SUV to be launched in the next 12-24 months.

It’s too early to know any firm details about the full BEV or hybrid powertrains, but the latter is likely to be available in the range-extender layout that’s currently popular with Chinese manufacturers. However, it’s almost certain that the model will feature a capable all-wheel-drive system, because it’s destined to have the role of being Jeep’s most capable new model.

Dipende dalla chiave di lettura 🤣

Visto che l’investimento dei 4 modelli (2 Jeep e 2 Peugeot) è stato pagato al 70% dallo stato cinese mica sono stupidi a non sfruttare tale occasione? 😅
