The article has not been written by a greek journalist....It is a translated article from Jiancarlo Perini....He also says that Marcione has spoken with Daimler Crysler and Toyota.....Also the president of Toyota Soixiro toyoda has spoken with pininfarina and members of italian geverment.

I know you don't want irritate anyone. And of course I'm not irretated. I'm just saying that (according to my point of view) it's not possible, and I say this because Lancia is now the only Fiat brand that is strongly increasing selling. Why shold Fiat sell it now?

Toyota has made his own firtune without buying any brand. Why should they start now? And why buying Lancia?

Lancia has not many dealers out of Italy, even if Lancia brand has a strong potential because of its history.

But, for example, Rover, that everybody knows is for sale, has a big history too (and a similar brand positioning) and more dealers than Lancia. But I haven't heard about an interest of Toyota for Rover (but of course I know that's not a proof).

Fiat spent a lot of money in Alfa in the last years and now a new longawaited generation of models is arriving. And somebody says Alfa could come back in the USA within 2 or 3 years using Ferrari-Maserati dealeres. Why should they sell it?

We can say the same thing for Maserati (that shares his dealers with Ferrari!)

It also seems to be a nonsense that Fiatgroup would just remain with Fiat brand and Ferrari, without anything between them.

ci manca solo questo!!! che vendano Lancia e Alfa Romeo e poi avremmo una Maserati con auto da segmento C-D-E, cosa che è successa a Jaguar(è realtà)...

Lancia deve rimanere nel gruppo e come si sarà ripresa potrà iniziare a fare modelli che non siano delle Fiat riviste e potrà far nascere una divisione di lusso (AUTONOMA) dal gruppo, ma sempre dipendente, con magari un marchio per le segmento A-B (Autobianchi) e un marchio per le F-limousine (Isotta Fraschini)

Si sa già ke della 940 esistono due prototipi circolanti,uno TA e uno TI.

Per caso sai anche se questi prototipi circolano camuffatissimi con la propria carrozzeria in fase di collaudo, oppure girano sotto le sembianze di altri modelli? Perchè per esempio la Kamal girava in prototipi di Stilo MW, oppure inizialmente la "199" girava in Stilo 3 porte.
