Si amplia l'offerta del Boxer Diesel di Subaru. Dopo Legacy e Outback, com'era prevedibile, il tecnologico 4 cilindri boxer alimentato a gasolio da 150 CV e 350 Nm di coppia si appresta ad equipaggiare anche la nuova Impreza.

Dotato di filtro antiparticolato DPF, il motore è abbinato sui due nuovi modelli ad un cambio manuale a 6 rapporti. Immancabile anche in questo caso il sistema di gestione della trazione integrale Symmetrical AWD.
