Vw Passat 1.4 TSI gets the Bluemotion badge

It was announced recently by the German carmaker VW that the green badge it has attached to its high-mpg diesel units will also be utilized for a gasoline version. The BlueMotion badge will be awarded to the Passat 1.4 TSI, a move that will enable the car to boost sales in low CO2 markets, tax-wise, such as the Netherlands and France.

The new BlueMotion badges Passat receives a gearbox that comes with a higher gear ratios, a chassis lowered by 15mm, a totally enclosed underbody, a closed grill and a 30kg weight cut. Besides enhanced performance due to modified aerodynamics, the Passat has effectively lowered CO2 emissions to 136-138g/km and fuel use to 5.9 liter/100km or 5.8 liters/100km (est. 40mpg) when coupled with a 7-speed DSG.

Già fatto Matteo. Anche in Italia. Butta un occhio su Metanauto.com e trovi consumi, problemi ed esperienze dell'installatore che l'ha fatta, nel Nord-est mi sembra.
