Cadillac has announced plans to introduce the new XT5 crossover at the Dubai Motor Show in November.Set to replace the aging SRX, the XT5 will feature a bold front fascia which a massive grille, slender headlights and vertical daytime running lights. The crossover will also have a sloping roof, a tailgate-mounted spoiler and distinctive taillights.

Cadillac has been tight-lipped about specifications but the model is expected to ride on the new C1XX / Chi platform and feature a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that develops approximately 265 bhp (198 kW). The model could also be offered with a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 that produces about 335 bhp (250 kW).
