Credo abbiano fumato loro, anche io ricordavo come te che l'ibrido non ci fosse su Cherokee, ma per essere sicuro ho controllato il comunicato stampa, e non c'è traccia del sistema eTorque.

Engine itself is the same one. But this one is without E.Torque mild hybrid system. 

 

But Wrangler for European market will also have this 2.0 turbo without E.Torque.

Issue can be related with Lithium battery and transport of product with it. Which hazard class it is?

Mi sembra strano, ci sono diverse elettriche ed ibride plug-in (quindi con batterie di dimensioni importanti) che attraversano l' oceano per raggiungere i vari mercati, perchè per Wrangler, che ha pure un sistema mild-hybrid ed una batteria relativamente piccola, dovrebbe essere un problema? Per Cherokee invece credo sia una scelta commerciale e basta, visto che non offrono l'ibrido nemmeno negli USA.

 

This sounds odd to me, many electrics and plug-in hybrids (with big batteries) are transported across the ocean to reach various markets, why should this be a problem for Wrangler, which has a mild-hybrid system and a relatively small battery? Going back to Cherokee, I think it's purely a business choice, considering they don't offer the hybrid system in the US, too.

Also there is more than one version of Lithium based batteries. The one as used for eTorque is NMC. You can read more here:

Interesting that whole mild hybrid system for Wrangler adds only around 55 lbs (25 kg).

Ok, ma io mi riferivo alle varie EV e plug-in con batterie al litio che sono prodotte in EU e vengono trasportate in USA (BMW i3, 3 e 5 ibride, Audi A3 e-tron, Volvo ibride) o viceversa (Tesla, Opel Ampera), o ancora dalla Corea verso Europa e Usa (Hyundai Ioniq e Kia Niro). Se tutte queste auto viaggiano per mare senza problemi, perchè Jeep dovrebbe usare sui propri modelli una batteria che non può essere trasportata? Per di più in un sistema ibrido leggero. Ovviamente posso sbagliare, ma IMHO, non offrono eTorque su Cherokee (e Wrangler europea) per una scelta puramente commerciale.

All this cars are transported by sea without any problem, why would Jeep use a battery that can't be transported, on a mild-hybrid system? Of course I might be wrong, but IMHO, not offering eTorque here is a pure marketing choice.

pare una cazzata ma a me amaon non fa acquistare batterie che si trovano su amzon italia perchè i magazzini magari sono fuori italia...quindi non le puoi comprare. che cazzata
