My personal guess is that the plan for Renegade was to be based on the STLA Small platform. But what is currently happening is probably that Stellantis has delayed the introduction of that platform. The New 2008 is delayed from 2027 to 2029 according to a spanish newspaper, and this could be a sign. So, if that's the case, they're probably thinking of switching to Smart so that the car is launched by 2027

Update from L'Argus: STLA Small is on track. New 208 in Dec 2026, new Corsa and new DS3 in 2027, all 3 made in Zaragoza. The new 2008 has been delayed to Sep 2029, and will be made in Vigo

Filosa ha confermato che la Cherokee debutterà negli USA il prossimo anno. Secondo le fonti di MoparInsiders la nuovissima Cherokee avrà 

un propulsore ibrido turbocompresso da 1,6 litri che porterà al debutto una nuova trasmissione a tre velocità adatta alle auto ibride.
