Domanda legittima.

in garage: diversi 4, 6 e 8 cilindri.

The Curation Engine: Tailoring every journey around how you want to feel

  • The Bentley Torcal can intelligently shape every journey around the emotional and sensory needs of its occupants

  • Four distinct environments have been crafted to support different moods, moments and states of mind; Bentley Mode, Comfort Mode, Sport Mode and Refresh Mode

  • Grounded in sensory neuroscience, every element has been carefully orchestrated to work in harmony

  • Experiences selected through the beautifully crafted Curation Engine

(Crewe, 6 August 2026) Luxury has traditionally been measured by materials, craftsmanship and comfort, but the Torcal introduces another dimension. By aligning multiple senses and responding to the changing needs of its occupants, it creates experiences that feel deeply personal. The result is more than comfort alone, it is a new form of luxury – centred on balance, wellbeing and shaping every journey around how you want to feel.

For decades, Bentley has allowed drivers to tailor their experience, from suspension settings to 22-way seat adjustment and to the colour of interior lighting. The new Torcal takes that idea further than ever before. Rather than adjusting individual features, it transforms the atmosphere of the entire cabin. Light, sound, climate, air quality and digital information work together in harmony, creating four distinct environments designed to support different moods, moments and states of mind.

At the heart of the system lies Bentley's understanding of the powerful relationship between environment and emotion. Grounded in sensory neuroscience, every element has been meticulously calibrated to work together as a unified whole. The result feels intuitive rather than technological, helping occupants feel calmer, more focused, more energised or more engaged depending on the journey ahead. These curated experiences are selected through the Curation Engine, positioned at the centre of the cabin and presented as a beautifully crafted piece of automotive jewellery.

At its core, the Curation Engine shapes the dynamic character of the vehicle, orchestrating suspension, powertrain and driving attributes similar to modes such as Bentley, Sport and Comfort. The Torcal takes this concept further with a secondary layer of curation that extends beyond the mechanics of driving. Through immersive Experience Modes, lighting, sound and other sensory elements are expertly harmonised to influence mood, atmosphere and wellbeing.

Bentley Mode is the car’s default setting – and the purest expression of the Bentley character. For more than a century, Bentley has combined luxury with performance, creating grand tourers with the heart of a sports car. The new Torcal continues that philosophy. Warm, dynamic and perfectly balanced, Bentley Mode blends comfort and craftsmanship with real engagement, creating an environment that feels refined yet unmistakably driver-focused.

Designed to reduce distractions and encourage relaxation, Comfort Mode softens lighting, the atmosphere becomes calmer and the pace of the cabin gently slows. Occupants can even choose a digital detox setting, reducing the flow of information and allowing attention to shift away from screens. The result is a serene environment designed for longer journeys and quieter moments.

Sport Mode sharpens the senses and heightens every interaction. The soundtrack becomes more immersive, visual cues become more focused and the character of the cabin grows increasingly purposeful. Every element is tuned to strengthen the connection between driver and machine, creating an atmosphere charged with intent and engagement. It is a setting designed to make every input feel more immediate, every reaction more precise and every journey more rewarding.

Exclusive to the Torcal, Refresh Mode introduces an entirely new dimension to luxury travel. Fresh-air circulation is increased, lighting becomes brighter and the atmosphere feels lighter, cleaner and more invigorating. Designed to combat fatigue and enhance alertness, it helps occupants feel renewed during longer journeys. Unexpected yet remarkably effective, Refresh Mode demonstrates how luxury can influence not only comfort, but wellbeing itself.

More than a collection of settings, the Curation Engine represents a new philosophy of automotive luxury. By intelligently orchestrating the sensory environment around its occupants, the Bentley Torcal creates experiences that adapt, respond and evolve throughout a journey. It is a vision of luxury that is not merely seen or touched, but genuinely felt.

Modern materials for a modern Bentley

  • Torcal expands Bentley's interior materials and textures palette further than ever before

  • First application of Merino wool in an automotive interior

  • Up to 1,000 layers are used to create the striking new Ombre Veneer from walnut off-cuts and recycled paper

  • Introduction of the new Sunburst Aluminium technical finish

  • Six curated colourways created specifically to complement new Merino wool interior shades

(Crewe, 17 August 2026) For generations, Bentley has set the benchmark for interior craftsmanship using the world's finest materials. Leather and wood remain central to that heritage, but Torcal introduces a new generation of materials, finishes and textures that broaden Bentley's design palette while remaining true to its commitment to exceptional craftsmanship. Whether sculpted, stitched, polished or assembled by hand, every surface reflects Bentley's enduring dedication to artistry, authenticity and luxury.

A significant innovation for the Torcal cabin is the introduction of Merino wool. Long celebrated in the worlds of fashion and interior design for its softness, warmth and natural elegance, wool has historically lacked the durability required for automotive applications. That challenge has now been overcome.

Bentley has partnered with Fox Brothers, the renowned Somerset cloth maker that has been weaving fine wool fabrics since the 18th century, to create an entirely new material specifically for Torcal. The collaboration resulted in the world's first 100 per cent Merino wool automotive fabric capable of meeting the exacting demands of a luxury vehicle. The wool flannel is also the first automotive wool fabric to achieve 100 per cent certification by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS), the globally recognised programme managed by Textile Exchange.

Soft to the touch, naturally breathable and unmistakably authentic, it introduces a new dimension of warmth and comfort to the Torcal interior.

Torcal also debuts a remarkable new Ombre Veneer. Created from sustainably sourced walnut off-cuts and craft (recycled) paper, the veneer is formed from up to 1,000 individually selected layers that are carefully pressed together before being sliced to less than a millimetre in thickness. Designed to complement the geometry of the cabin, the material creates a seamless transition of tone across each surface. Four distinct walnut shades flow naturally from deep black through dark smoke and light smoke before revealing the richness of natural walnut. The result is both contemporary and timeless: a striking expression of modern luxury rooted in traditional craftsmanship.

Further expanding Torcal’s technical finishes is the introduction of Sunburst Aluminium by Mulliner. Technical, tactile and highly sophisticated, the finish reinterprets the engine-turned aluminium dashboards that graced Bentley models of the past. Precision-crafted with extraordinary attention to detail, it combines heritage-inspired artistry with a distinctly contemporary aesthetic.

To accompany the introduction of Merino wool, six carefully curated colourways have been tailored specifically for the new material. Each palette combines complementary tones from the same colour family, creating depth, harmony and a contemporary sense of sophistication.
The Torcal will continue to redefine luxury craftsmanship for a new era. By combining innovative materials, sustainable thinking and meticulous attention to detail, the Torcal demonstrates how the future of luxury can be both progressive and beautifully crafted. It is a vision of modern Bentley design where traditional skills meet contemporary materials to create interiors that are as responsible as they are desirable.
