Ad ogni modo credo che chi se uno la volesse cabrio a tutti costi ci metterebbe un'attimo a far un colpo di telefono ad un carrozziere per farsi costruire la sua one-off...

Che sorpresa. Tutte scuse, avrebbero fatto meglio a comunicare che intendono propendere per un marchio con ambizioni più generaliste che di nicchia

A quanto pare Azure e Brooklands potrebbero tornare in ballo

Bentley CEO Wolfgang Durheimer has hinted the company will offer a new Azure convertible and Brooklands coupe.Speaking to Auto Express, Durheimer said "I’m truly convinced that we have a lot of opportunities with our existing model lines. In Crewe you used to see a very nice convertible called Azure – we also had it as a hidden [concept] car in Pebble Beach in 2011." The executive went on to say "I hear from our customers that there is remarkable demand for a car like this, and if we do the Azure, the Brooklands just comes automatically.”

If the cars are green-lighted, they would be based on the Mulsanne and likely use a twin-turbo 6.75-liter V8 engine that develops 512 PS (377 kW) and 1020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque.

Besides talking about the Azure and Brooklands, Durheimer said the company has some "new ideas for derivatives on the Continental line." He declined to go into specifics but the company already offers five versions of the coupe and four versions of the convertible.
