Chevy's Sonic-based crossover is inching ever closer to production as we've just caught it testing here in Death Valley. We've seen GM's new small crossover testing in Germany wearing a different face. In these spy shots we clearly have the signature Chevy split grille (there are even tips of a bowtie peeking out from behind the tape). We've also got different running gear in the form of steel wheels and all-season tires with chunkier blocks.

As for size, Chevy was nice enough to park their new small SUV directly next to a Chevy Cruze. While there's certainly some "close things look bigger" trickery going on in the photo, our spy photog assures us that they are similar in size with the SUV maybe a tick smaller. The Cruze, for what it's worth, is 181 inches long, The CR-V is 179.3 inches long while the Rav-4 is 181.9 inches.

Viste le differenze anche a livello di passaruota e non solo di fari e paraurti, i due mezzi dovrebbero avere una differenziazione estetica simile a quella che c'è tra una Captiva e una Antara.
