Rinnovo la mia perplessità sulla trazione Quattro su una segmento B con vocazione tutto tranne che fuoristradistica.

Oddio, non sarebbe la prima

A me l'Audi A1 in allestimento top, piace tantissimo ma perde molto mettendo il kit S-Line esterno. Con quella secondo me lo peggiora poichè diventa troppo allungata verso terra e appare ancora più tonda/furgoncino.

Quindi spero che la S1 non si esagerata o sia un pò più proporzionata

Rumors are indicating Audi will launch the S1 next year based on the upcoming A1 facelift.Fourtitude is reporting sources within Audi have confirmed the S1 will be launched sometime next year, along with the facelift variant of the regular A1. No news about what will power the Audi S1 but it might get a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine producing 220 HP (162 kW) linked to the quattro all-wheel drive system.

As for the RS1, this probably won't see the light of day because someone at quattro GmbH thinks there isn't a market for such a car and if put into production, the RS1 would be too expensive in a market which is price sensitive. If Audi will change its mind, the RS1 is likely to adopt some of the styling cues seen on the limited edition A1 quattro.
