Stellantis prevede di investire più di 600 milioni di dollari per riaprire il Belvidere Assembly Plant e ampliare la produzione di Jeep Cherokee e Jeep Compass per il mercato statunitense. Ma se Cherokee e Compass le spostano in USA che faranno a Toluca e Brampton? Vabbe in Messico sicuro riciclano qualcosa di economico perché con le sole Wagoneer S e Recon non campa la fabbrica

Brampton è vuota da quando hanno smesso di assemblare Compass 2 e inizialmente Compass 3 era prevista lì, anche se da un po' di mesi era spuntata l'ipotesi Belvidere. E intanto i canadesi non l'hanno presa benissimo.

Brampton will probably continue producing the models it currently produces: none. Stellantis is always in favor of stability

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that those rumors existed. And that I think the most probable scenario for that model is to be a Dodge. Having two BOF Jeep SUVs is too much, and Dodge can't stay with just 2 models in its lineup for a long time. RAM will get a white-space model anyway. They might decided to bring Stealth back in order to invest also in Dodge

Penso invece faranno una roba del genere, posizionata tra Grand Cherokee (42 mila dollari) e Grand Wagoneer (65 mila dollari) c’è lo spazio anche in termini di prezzi (50 mila dollari) per un SUV del genere
