Infiniti chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura has revealed the company will introduce a new coupe by the end of 2015.Speaking to Top Gear, Nakamura said "It's coming, you'll see it within one year." He went on to say the coupe will be a production model that is "a little bit bigger than a BMW 4-Series but not as big as a 6-Series." Nakamura declined to say which model he was talking about but it's likely an all-new Q60.

The Q60, as you may remember, is based on the previous G-Series and is long overdue for a makeover. When this occurs, it will likely be heavily influenced by the Q50.

While Nakamura was coy on specifics, he did suggest there could be an Eau Rouge variant if the Q50 Eau Rouge concept is green-lighted for production. As a refresher, the Q50 Eau Rouge has a Nissan GT-R sourced twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine that develops 560 bhp (417 kW).

In particolare la futura Q60, quindi la coupé, arriverà entro la fine del prossimo anno e forse sarà presentata anche in versione Eau Rouge (sempre che confermino la produzione della Q50).

Infiniti executive design director Alfonso Albaisa has revealed plans to introduce a Q60 Coupe concept at the North American International Auto Show.

Speaking to Motor Trend, Albaisa said the concept will be "very, very, very, very close to the next Q60." He declined to elaborate but Infiniti chief creative officer Shiro Nakamura has previously confirmed the production model will arrive next year
