Da contraltare, ecco la la Serie 5 GranTurismo con Power eDrive Technology, dove il sistema ibrido diventa funzione portante per esaltare le prestazioni di una vettura, piuttosto che riferirsi ad uno spettro ampio di scenari.

Non abbiamo ancora dati tecnici uffiali della vettura, ma supponiamo sia spinta dal nuovo 3.0 litri con tecnologia TwinPowerTurbo a benzina B58, in grado di erogare circa 370 CV a cui sono associati il modulo ibrido sviluppato da ZF all’interno della trasmissione ad 8 rapporti, coadiuvati da due propulsori elettrici e relativo pack batteria da oltre 20 kWh. In totale abbiamo 670 CV.
