Purtroppo non ce l’ha fatta: Juan Garriga si è spento il 27 agosto in seguito alle complicazioni chirurgiche derivanti dalle ferite riportate in un incidente stradale avvenuto il lunedì precedente. Juan aveva 52 anni, nella sua carriera aveva disputato dieci stagioni nel Motomondilale (1984-1993), in sella alle 250 cc e 500 cc. Nel suo palmares toviamo 3 vittorie e 13 podi. La sua miglior stagione è stata il 1988, terminata da vice campione del Mondo 250, dietro a Sito Pons...
