il paragone con Android non è del tutto esatto. Più corretto il paragone con i fornitori tipo ZF in campo automotive (cambi accoppiati a motori elettrici), solamente esteso all'insieme dell'auto, cosa che con un powertrain elettrico è molto più semplice.
