Judging by this odd-looking Z4 Coupe mule, Hans Lehmann, Our Man In The Trees, believes that BMW is readying a glass-roofed edition of its voluptuous little two-door.

We’re not sure what the deal is with the rushed-looking high wing is, but judging by the roof covering, BMW could indeed be working on a panoramic glass roof option as a cut-rate alternative to Porsche’s 911 Targa. That odd disc-shaped apparatus on the mule’s lid could be some sort of antenna or assessment tool used in evaluating prototypes, but its function remains something of a mystery.

The fixed-head Z4 has been on sale for less than a year, so a second model (or option package) is certainly plausible.

noooooo...ma dai è un chiaro caso di scoppiazzamento della brera...e non è possibile...uffa!...oltretutto il tetto panoramico è antisportivo, perchè pesa uno sproposito e sposta il baricentro verso l'alto....che copioni in bmw....gneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

sì infatti! a pensare ke già l'sl da molto prima ke uscisse brera ha la possibilità del tetto panoramico...ma nn è stata la sola (leggasi c sport coupè)...in quel segmento della z4 hanno utilizzato una buona soluzione...scopiazzamento si può parlare a livello di design nn di optional...cmq consolati col fatto ke fortunatamente sarà optional (menomale)...
