Nissan has recognized that it needs to make the Micra more masculine to keep the male buyers happy. Thus, the Japanese giant has facelifted the Micra for an aggressive and sharper design language.

We have already shown you some images of the facelifted Micra a few days back. Turns out that those images were taken during the TV commercial shoot. Here we have the full TV commercial for your viewing pleasure!

Sadly, the TV commercial is in Thai which is Greek to us. But we can deduce that the facelifted Nissan Micra has been endowed with –

• A completely revised front fascia with new front bumper, new headlamps and new fog lamps.
  
• A redesigned rear fascia with a set of new LED tail lamps and a rear spoiler
  
• A blackened center console
  
• A new ‘sparkling green’ color option
  

The redesign efforts have certainly helped the facelifted Micra to move away from its feminine image. We can’t say it is as pretty as the Punto or as classy as the Polo, but it is a definite improvement over the current design.

The 2014 Nissan Micra will continue to use the 1.5 litre K9K diesel or the 1.2 litre petrol motor. Nissan ‘might’ have made some improvements to both the engines to juice some more kmpl out of them. The transmission will be a 5-speed manual or (if we are lucky) a X-CVT automatic. Prices will most definitely be revised upwards.

We believe the facelift should come out sometime in the next three months.

cosi' conciata sembra un'aygo 2013 o una PICANTO 2012 davanti......la serie attuale seppur scialba,non mi dispiace per la sua semplicitàààààquesto facelift la rende piu' pacchiana...

Ecco, proprio adesso che avevo incominciato ad apprezzarne lo stile...

uhm, leggendo i commenti precedenti, mi sa che qua su AP ho dei gusti strani in fatto di auto . Francamente sto FL non lo trovo male. Da più personalità al frontale prima assai anonimo. Per il resto non è che sia cambiato molto anzi. E questa micra/march per il compito che ha di auto essenzialmente urbana mi sembra lo svolga egregiamente, senza la ricerca di sofisticatezze inutili, con dimensioni umane e corrette. Per me è promossa, non sarà un esempio di design ma il suo compito lo fa bene.

madonna mia...ma che ha fatto sta macchina alla Nissan...cioè deve stargli decisamente sui co...oni!
