Aggiungo che in caso di difficoltà di conversione, basta aprirle e risalvarle con il buon vecchio PAINT :) 

Sarebbe meglio un GIMP o qualsiasi altro programma che implementi algoritmi di compressione JPEG, salvarla con Paint anche JPG l'immagine "esplode" in termini di byte consumati.
