Škoda Peaq: first glimpse of Škoda’s new electric flagship

› The largest Škoda model: the Peaq expands the electric portfolio at the upper end, offering up to seven seats, more than 600 kilometres of range and even greater choice for customers
› Peak comfort: the new brand shaper comes with a wide array of comfort and relaxation features, including a high‑end sound system by Sonos
› Peak spaciousness: the Peaq features the largest boot in the current portfolio and the largest panoramic roof ever in a Škoda
› A key driver of Škoda’s electric future: the Peaq will play a crucial role in doubling the brand’s all‑electric portfolio in 2026

Mladá Boleslav, 30 March 2026 – Škoda Auto is set to expand its portfolio in mid‑2026 with the fully electric Peaq SUV, based on the Vision 7S concept. Built on the Modular Electrification Toolkit (MEB) platform and produced in Mladá Boleslav, the model becomes the Czech car manufacturer’s new electric flagship. It broadens the electric portfolio at the upper end and will play a key role in doubling Škoda’s electric model range in 2026 – giving customers even more choice. The largest and most spacious model in Škoda’s portfolio has a range of more than 600 kilometres, measures nearly 4.9 metres in length, and can accommodate either five or seven adults, depending on the configuration. With five seats, it provides up to 1,010 litres of boot space, the biggest of any Škoda model. Among many other firsts, the Peaq comes with a Relax Package featuring ergonomic seats with a massage function, leg rests, Premium Sound by Sonos, and an integrated wellness app, transforming the cabin into a lounge on wheels.

“The Škoda Peaq is designed for real life - for families who need space, for drivers who want confidence on long journeys, and for anyone who values modern style without compromise. As our next flagship, it raises the Škoda brand to a new level: more spacious, more practical, and more attractive for everyday explorers. Peaq brings a new sense of scale, smart functionality, and progressive design to the large electric SUV segment, setting a benchmark for what a modern Škoda can be. With its efficient electric drivetrain and focus on sustainable mobility, it blends practicality, emotion, and responsibility to create a new feeling of freedom on the road. And as customers expect from Škoda, it delivers all of this with a uniquely balanced, value‑driven approach. With Peaq, we’re taking Škoda’s electric journey to new heights - in every sense.”

Klaus Zellmer, Škoda Auto CEO

“The confident presence of the Škoda Peaq is defined by our Modern Solid design principles, by clarity, simplicity, and a clear focus on functionality and space. Moreover, every design decision was made with the model’s great practicality and everyday usability in mind, putting an emphasis on what matters most to our customers. The Peaq will contribute to considerably further sharpen the identity and perception of our brand. We are convinced: The Peaq’s design has everything to win new customers over for our brand.”

Oliver Stefani, Head of Škoda Design

Škoda’s largest and most spacious model

At nearly 4.9 metres in length, 1.7 metres in height and with a wheelbase of 2,965 milimetres, the Peaq is the largest and most spacious model in Škoda’s portfolio. This status means it will play a key role in doubling Škoda’s electric model range in 2026. The production version of the Vision 7S not only carries the hallmarks of the Modern Solid design language but also represents its most developed form yet. This includes the illuminated glossy black Tech‑Deck Face front panel with fine vertical slats and LED backlighting. The electric flagship is available with top‑of‑the‑range full LED Matrix headlights incorporating 18 light segments, giving the driver optimal visibility of the road ahead in all weather conditions and settings without dazzling other road users. The Peaq’s bold appearance is complemented by large, aerodynamically optimised alloy wheels in sizes ranging from 19" to 21". Ten paint finishes are available.

Five interiors, seven adults, limitless comfort

With a wheelbase of nearly 3 metres, passengers in the second and third rows enjoy exceptional legroom and comfort. In addition, the third row offers generous headroom. The interior comes with a host of practical solutions throughout.

Alongside the seven‑seat layout, the Peaq is also available as a five‑seater. In this configuration, it offers the largest boot of any Škoda production model, with a capacity of up to 1,010 litres. The seven‑seater provides up to 299 litres of boot space. An additional practical 37‑litre storage compartment – the Frunk – sits beneath the bonnet and further expands the luggage capacity.

Five interior designs, including Sportline, are available. At the top of the range are two Suite Design Selection options finished in Techtona, a high‑quality leather alternative, offered in black and a light grey called Ceramique. The Loft Design Selection combines grey textile upholstery with black Techtona on the trim and seats. The higher‑specification Lodge Design Selection features grey embossed textile seats in combination with a green tone Techtona. Completing the range is the Sportline Lounge Design Selection, which combines Suedia upholstery with Techtona.

All interior variants come with ambient lighting and a heated multifunctional steering wheel badged with the Škoda lettering as standard. A two‑spoke steering wheel is used across the range, while the Sportline version features a threespoke version with Hands‑Off Detection and regenerative braking paddles. Selected interiors are exclusively animal free, sustainable, and incorporate more than 50 kg of recycled materials; leather upholstery will also become available later this year.

New comfort features for onboard relaxation and premium audio by Sonos

The new optional Relax Package focuses on enhanced comfort and relaxation on long journeys. It includes AGR‑certified relax seats with a massage function, electrically adjustable ergonomic leg rests, front pillows, a foldable table, and an integrated wellness app offering six distinct modes – including settings for relaxation, stretching and re-energising. The system simultaneously adjusts climate control, ambient lighting and seat massage functions. The Relax Package is available as part of all interior design options. It also marks another first for Škoda: a premium audio system developed in close collaboration with Sonos. Known for its highend home audio equipment, Sonos has worked closely with Škoda Auto to adapt its sound technology for in-car use. The system delivers the brand’s signature clear sound reproduction, a balanced listening experience and an immersive three-dimensional sound.

Three powertrain variants and a range of more than 600 kilometres

Customers will be able to choose from three powertrain variants – the 60, 90, and 90x – delivering outputs ranging from 150 kW to 220 kW. The 90 and 90x variants offer a range of more than 600 kilometres and can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent capacity via DC fast charging in just 28 minutes. The 60 variant manages the same charge in just 27 minutes.

The Peaq’s powerful electric drivetrain and low centre of gravity provide outstanding driving dynamics and rapid acceleration: the all‑wheel‑drive 90x variant sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds.

Proven features, innovative firsts and the largest panoramic roof ever in a Škoda model

The Peaq introduces several notable features appearing for the first time in a Škoda production model, including flush door handles. When the car is in motion or locked, the handles retract fully into the bodywork, improving the airflow around the vehicle and contributing to greater aerodynamic efficiency. They also maintain the highest standards of occupant safety and add to the car’s visual appeal. As the driver approaches with the key, the handles activate and extend electrically. Mechanical activation is also possible by pressing the marked front section of the handle.

Another striking new feature is the panoramic sunroof with Dynamic Shade Control. This electrochomic roof uses electrical voltage to vary light transmission. In the Peaq, the roof is divided into nine individual segments. Occupants can choose from three predefined positions or configure the roof manually via the infotainment display. This is the largest panoramic roof ever fitted to a Škoda model.

New Android-based infotainment system and new 13.6" vertical screen

The Peaq features the latest Android-based infotainment system, offering extensive personalisation options and a wide range of useful and entertainment applications – both native Škoda apps and third‑party services such as Spotify, YouTube and Google Maps. A new digital mobile key also makes its debut, allowing the conventional key to be replaced by a smartphone or a smartwatch application – particularly useful for vehicles shared by multiple drivers. Essential driving information is presented on a 10" driver display, supplemented by a 13.6" vertical infotainment display with haptical controls. An augmented‑reality head‑up display is available as an option.

As the perfect companion for Everyday Explorers, the Škoda Peaq supports Vehicle‑to‑Load (V2L), allowing energy stored in the highvoltage battery to charge and power external electrical devices such as e-bikes or caravans. In addition, the newly introduced Ambibox DC Wallbox by Volkswagen Group brand MOON POWER now enables Škoda electric models to make use of Vehicle‑to‑Home (V2H) bidirectional functionality, allowing the vehicle to supply energy to a building – whether a business or a household.

Expanding the range of Simply Clever features

As Škoda’s new electric flagship model, the Peaq also introduces new Simply Clever solutions that make everyday life with the car even easier. It is the first Škoda to feature wiper blades with integrated washers, which use screenwash fluid more efficiently and deliver more effective windscreen cleaning. Other practical features include a Dual Phonebox with wireless charging (Qi.2 standard) and up to 25 W of charging power, an electric roller shutter in the luggage compartment, a foldable table, a display cleaner, a ticket holder, a USB socket integrated into the interior mirror and a USB port in the third row.

Another practical touch is the QR code on the side of the luggage compartment. Scanning it launches a video that demonstrates the practical storage solutions available in the boot.

Sportline variant with distinctive design elements

The Škoda Peaq will also be available from launch in a Sportline variant, featuring distinctive, sporty design elements and enhanced standard specifications.

The Sportline’s exterior is defined by glossy black details and high‑contrast elements that give the car its recognisable appearance. Standard equipment includes 20" alloy wheels, with 21" wheels available as an option. The dynamic overall look is complemented by full LED Matrix headlights and an illuminated Tech‑Deck Face. The interior is dominated by dark tones, black headlining, and carefully selected materials finished to a high standard. The signature black roof of the Sportline version will also be available as an optional feature.

The Peaq Sportline also features electrically adjustable sports seats with enhanced lateral support and integrated headrests. A three‑spoke sports steering wheel badged with the Škoda lettering and aluminium pedals complete the sporty feel in the cabin.

² All 85, 85x, or RS electric models made by Škoda Auto and equipped with software version 5.4 or newer are eligible for Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) bidirectional charging. Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) is available for all electric models produced from June 2026 onwards.
