Variatore d'anticipo: come funziona?

Mi potreste spiegare come funziona il variatore d'anticipo in un auto a metano e se questo riesce realmente ad accrescerne le prestazioni. Va montato a parte? Se si quanto costa?

Insomma spiegatemi tutto su questo gingillo visto che sono indeciso se comprare un auto a metano o a gas.

Il variatore d'anticipo "anticipa" lo scoccare della scintilla rispetto a quando si viaggia a benzina.

Questo perchè avendo un numero di ottani superiore (equivalenti a 120) ci mette più tempo a bruciare. Quindi è necessario far partire prima (anticipare appunto) la combustione se si vuole ottenere il massimo.

E' integrato da tantissimo tempo nelle centraline, quindi non c'è da toccare niente :)

ok ma ho sentito dire che cosi il metano ha prestazioni simili al benzina e uguali al gas.

Si, si riduce parecchio il divario di prestazioni ;)

(per annullarlo servirebbe il turbo o un rapporto di compressione più alto)
