The Scion xB faces an uncertain future, but that hasn't stopped the company from introducing a minor facelift for the aging hatchback.

Modestly revised, the updated model has a new front bumper with gloss black accents and integrated LED lighting units. There's also a gloss black rear diffuser and two new exterior colors: Absolutely Red and Nautical Blue Metallic.

Interior changes include revised upholstery, new chrome / light bronze metallic accents and an optional "BeSpoke" audio system.

Power is provided by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 158 bhp (118 kW) and 162 lb-ft (219 Nm) of torque. It is connected to a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic.

The 2013 Scion xB will go on sale in the United States early next year and pricing starts at $16,800.

E' palesemente ispirata a 500L.....

Sinceramente non riesco a capire se è più brutta l'originale o il restyling... e... sì, lo ammetto anche se faccio fatica io stesso a crederci: è più brutta della 500L.

Non è che ci voglia molto a pensare e realizzare forme più arrotondate (benché non tali da rendere gradevole questo concetto di automobile). Boh... molta lamiera sprecata a mio avviso.
