Like the coupe, the 458 Spider Speciale will likely feature an aerodynamic body kit that includes a new front bumper, revised side skirts and an aggressive rear diffuser. We can also expect Brembo brakes, a Side Slip Angle Control system and 20-inch forged wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tires. Most importantly, the model should boast an upgraded 4.5-liter V8 engine that produces 605 PS (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 35 PS (25 kW).

It is believed the Italian car will be powered by the same 4.5-liter V8 engine delivering 605 PS (445 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft). The 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint will take 3 seconds, while the 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) run will be done in 9.1 seconds. The top speed will be around 325 km/h (202 mph).

L'han già mostrata ad un evento privato alla mostra di Pebble Beach; dovrebbe essere esposta con molta probabilità al Salone di Parigi.

E da quando in qua il livello sonoro degli scarichi è mai stato un ostacolo per il godimento di una Spider da parte del guidatore? Al massimo può essere un problema per i designer a cui tremano gli infissi di casa...
