Aldilà della parentela e delle similitudini sotto il profilo dell'impostazione meccanica, ai miei occhi la Simca 1000 era piu una segmento C che una segmento B come 850, forse una via di mezzo nell'ultima fase della carriera, quando un gradino sopra si poneva la Simca 1100.

Che poi meccanicamente non hanno un bullone in comune.

850 ereditava pianale e giroporte di 600, passo compreso.

In pratica cambiata solo la sospensione posteriore.

Simca 1000 era un progetto del tutto più nuovo e moderno .

Non dimentichiamo che nel 1964 l'850 costava 750.000 lire, la Simca 1000 intorno alle 900.000
