Il 2007 nelle intenzioni di Peugeot vuole essere l'anno del rilancio della Casa del Leone nelle competizioni sportive.

Il gruppo francese, infatti, ha già approntato le auto in versione racing che l’anno prossimo competeranno nelle rispettive serie.

Si tratta della 207 Super 2000, destinata alle competizioni rallystiche nazionali nella omonima categoria, che è dotata di trazione integrale e un motore da 285 cavalli. In verità la 207 Super 2000 ha già debuttato sullo sterrato, ma solo come apripista, al Rally d’Antibes con Gilles Panizzi navigato da Freddy Delorme.
