La domanda non è certo delle più facili, eppure quest'anno, e pochi lo sanno, rincorre il duecentenario della prima automobile (denominata all'epoca Road Locomotive): la Trevithick del 1803, che prende il nome dal suo ideatore, l'inglese Richard Trevithick.
