Noble M600 (Spy)

Noble have been a bit too quiet for our liking, it has been 2 years since the one true British automaker launched its last model – the M15 and now the worldwide followers are starting to get restless waiting for the next model to be unveiled. Fortunately we can now reveal Noble are indeed working on a new model called the M600 and the first details have been uncovered by Pistonheads following an interview with Noble Managing Director Peter Boutwood.

The new model will be powered by a Yamaha designed Volvo V8 with twin-turbos mated to a six speed gearbox, although no specific specifications have been mentioned yet. The body shell will be made of carbon fibre and as we can see from the prototype photo, styling will stay very similar to the M15, although the design will only be finalised after the completion of final tunnel and climate testing.

Peter Boutwood commented that the Ferrari F40 is the nearest competitor in conceptual terms, although he is quick to add that they don't consider any other model on the market as a direct competitor. There is no set timeframe on when we can expect to see the complete version, however we do know that production will be limited to 50 units per year.
