MILANO - I Milano Vipers chiudono i battenti. Scompare cosi' una delle squadre piu' gloriose dell'hockey italiano, che dal 2002 al 2006 ha dominato il campionato di Serie A1. "La Societa' Hockey Club Junior Milano Vipers comunica a tutti i tifosi, a quanti hanno avuto a cuore le vicende della propria squadra, a tutti gli atleti tesserati dalla societa' che a far capo da oggi - giovedi 12 giugno - cessano tutte le attivita' dirette", recita una nota del club lombardo. La scelta dei Vipers - dettata dal mancato decollo del movimento - portera' alla nascita di un nuovo sodalizio sportivo giovanile, che prendera' il nome di Hockey Milano Rossoblu ed avra' il compito di "non perdere il patrimonio sportivo e agonistico creato in quest'ultimo decennio". La decisione annunciata oggi - fanno sapere dal club - e' definitiva. (Agr)
