The upcoming Dodge Hornet (the name is still undecided) is to replace the Dodge Caliber and, more directly, the Plymouth-Dodge Neon. The car is roughly based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. This prototype is far from the last mule to be seen, showing a four door sedan rather than a hatchback, with traditional door handles. Glenn Paulina’s people colorized the matte-black elements for a better look of the final design.

Spy Photos: Dodge Hornet Sedan Goes Back Under Cover

Well, we appear to be going backwards in the spy photos-to-production car progression. It was just at the end of September that we caught a prototype of the upcoming Dodge Hornet almost completely undisguised. It had some flat black paint and a sheet over the windshield, but other than that, we could see everything except the rear.

These new spy photos provide us with that ever-important view of the back of the car, but unfortunately they've done a far better job of camouflaging the new sedan. We can see see is that the sedan does have the very short deck that was teased in the first sedan shots. It's a look that Chrysler likes and has used previously on the 200/Sebring.

Another thing we get from these (apart from the tiny, tiny wheels which we're cool with -- we miss the ride quality provided by sidewall) is the new taillights. Our spy photogs say that the lights have a bright neon quality to them during braking that's preferable to the harsh individual lights provided by LED brake lights. We'll certainly hear more about these as time goes on, especially if they provide any energy savings or have a quick response time.

Estetica in linea con la concorrenza tipo chevy cruze o hyunday elantra quindi meglio della japan è!!, come sw e 2 volumi potrebbe benissimo andar bene anche in europa come FIAT segmento C-basso al posto di bravo, passo 262 come giulietta vero?

..ha una linea di cintura che mi ricorda certe realizzazioni Ford...non male comunque...ha un muso decisamente migliore della media Ford attuale

Ps. è facile ormai prevedere il logo Fiat in luogo di quella croce

Un pò troppo Ford, se gli togliamo la croce e ci si mette il marchio Fiat si ritorna quasi al family feel della GPunto.

decisamente bellina.. ha già lo scudo simil punto-linea-bravo basterà verniciare in tinta anche la parte del paraurti che alloggia la targa.. mi piace il profilo incazzuso dei fari.. ruberà un pò di clienti alla fortunata e bella cruze..

Portiere giulietta imho, quindi la linea deve essere a cuneo per forza. Per essere una generalista male non è. Sicuramente meglio di cruze che trovo bruttina al contrario della sorella opel

L'avevo detto che la calandra di Dodge sarebbe modificata iso fiat, quella calandra se cambiamo il nero lucido al colore della carrozzeria, e al posto della croce dodge mettiamo il marchio Fiat..e' pronta per essere venduta come fiat...tra l'altro la calandra e' molto simile a quella Bravo e Punto...

Sembra carina, la calandra è un bel modo per avvicinare i due marchi.
