Mazda Presents World Premiere of Two Vision Models
at Japan Mobility Show 2025

HIROSHIMA, Japan – During the press conference at the Japan Mobility Show 2025^*1 today, Mazda Motor Corporation (Mazda) unveiled two vision models, the MAZDA VISION X-COUPE and the MAZDA VISION X-COMPACT (‘X’ pronounced as ‘cross’ ), both embodying the Company’s theme for this year's exhibition: “The Joy of Driving Fuels a Sustainable Tomorrow” for 2035.

The MAZDA VISION X-COMPACT is a model designed to deepen the bond between people and cars through the fusion of a human sensory digital model and empathetic AI. Acting like a close companion, it is capable of engaging in natural conversation and suggesting destinations, helping expand the driver’s world. This represents Mazda’s vision for the future of smart mobility, where vehicles and people form an emotional connection, much like a friend.

Masahiro Moro, Representative Director, President and CEO of Mazda, stated: “The phrase, ‘The joy of driving fuels a sustainable tomorrow,’ expresses not only Mazda’s fundamental spirit, but also the core of its future challenges. Under the shared global mission of achieving carbon neutrality, Mazda believes that the joy of driving can be a force for positive change for society and the planet. We remain committed to fulfilling the desire of those who love cars and wish to continue driving forever.”

Non mi convincono molto le lacrime, però tutto sommato non mi dispiace.

Praticamente ad ogni evoluzione del Kodo design "tolgono una riga" e ora sono arrivati ai mimini termini.

mazda ha i migliori designer al mondo, c'è poco da fare.

Simpatica, il posteriore mi ricorda i concept Citroen per una nuova 2cv.

Forse il frontale è troppo appuntito, molto Mazda, ma poco coerente con le rotondità del resto dell’auto.

che però ripropongono il sopracciglio della nuova clio e si ispirano a qualcosa che ora mi sfugge su fari posteriori e lunotto.

Comunque personale e quindi riuscita anche se la plancia così è davvero troppo minimal : una volta che nella produzione togli quel bel gioco del rosso del fianchetto che si unisce al pavimento e metti un pò più di plasticaccia nella zona piantone/strumenti rimane ben poco

è la nuova Clio che è molto "Mazda" nel disegno secondo me, il disegno dei fari è l'evoluzione di quelli attualmente in gamma Mazda.

Forse un po’ troppo morbida dietro, ma il montante A quasi verticale le dona una sagoma molto personale.

Bella davvero, riprende la Mazda 2 del 2007, ad oggi per me ancora la segmento B più riuscita, complessivamente, di Mazda.

Oltretutto, molto compatta, una vera cittadina.

You really like this? I think the side view is butt ugly. Looks more A than B segment to me and I agree that it resembles the 2CV in some views.
